You will learn that the one of the aims of the UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR) is to empower individuals and give them control over their personal data.
You will finish off the course by exploring who has responsibility for data protection, including data controllers, data processors, data protection officers and the supervisory authority.
In order to complete the course, you must achieve 80% or more in the final multiple choice quiz.

In this unit you will explore data subject rights, access rights, the right to be forgotten, the right to restriction, rectification and objection.
Responsibilities for Data Protection
In the final unit of the online data protection course, you will look at who has responsibility for data protection, data security, reporting breaches, transferring data outside the EEA and penalties for non-compliance.
