All about this Confidence Building Course
In this confidence building course you will learn how to build your confidence, and what both confident and unconfident behaviours are. You will also explore how you can confidently communicate with others at work and how you can put plans in place to increase your confidence.
You will also explore Personal Development Plans and consider what goals and targets you may want to set for yourself. You will also explore self-esteem, and consider how important that is, and how it differs from confidence, even though they work hand in hand. This course also offers a free self-esteem checklist and Personal Development Plan for you to download, so you can keep it on track.
By the end of the course, you will have everything you need to enable you to create a plan to build and develop your confidence.
In order to complete the course, you must achieve 80% or more in the final multiple choice quiz.
You will earn 2 CPD points on completion of the course, this course will take around 2 hours to complete and the certificate will last for two years.

Units covered
- Unit 1 – Introduction to Confidence Building – In the first unit of this confidence building course, you will explore what confidence is and why it is important to work on your confidence. You will consider how low confidence can affect your life.
- Unit 2 – How to Build Confidence – This unit will explore how you can appear more confident by using your voice and embracing body language. You will also work through some top techniques to help you build confidence.
- Unit 3 – Putting Plans into Place – In this unit you will explore how you can develop your confidence by building a confidence toolkit, identifying your goals and barriers and creating a Personal Development Plan (PDP).
- Unit 4 – Self-Esteem – In the final unit of the confidence building course, you will consider what self-esteem is and why it is important. You will also look at mental-wellbeing and how self-esteem can be improved, a self-esteem checklist is also available for you to use and download.
