  • Unit 2 – Signs and Symptoms of Depression – In this unit you will explore the signs and symptoms of depression to strengthen your understanding, you will also cover the risk factors for developing depression.
  • Unit 3 – Support – This unit will cover the different types of support available for the child, as well as the help and support available for the parent/ caregiver who may need this while supporting a child with depression. This unit will also look at how primary and secondary schools can also help.
  • Unit 4 – Treatment – In the final unit of the course you will focus on the treatment available for children and adolescents who suffer from depression. Including creating a treatment plan for the child, counselling and medication.
