All about this Respiratory Diseases Awareness Course
In this respiratory diseases awareness course you will learn about the anatomy of a healthy respiratory system and how it should function. You will also learn how respiratory diseases can possibly be avoided. You will then consider the risk factors commonly associated with respiratory health, the course will also cover how these risk factors affect children and why they may be more harmful to a child.
You will them move onto exploring the different types of respiratory illnesses and their symptoms, you will look at common acute and chronic respiratory illnesses, as well as the signs and symptoms of each condition and how they may differ in adults and children.
In the final unit of the respiratory diseases awareness course you will explore diagnosing and treating acute and chronic respiratory illnesses and how accurate diagnoses of acute and chronic respiratory illnesses are made.
You will finish off the course by considering how chronic respiratory diseases are managed using a multidisciplinary approach.

In order to complete the course, you must achieve 80% or more in the final multiple choice quiz.

- Unit 3 – The Types of Respiratory Diseases – This unit will look at the variety of respiratory diseases that affect children and adults, including chronic respiratory diseases that develop in adulthood.
- Unit 4 – Treatment Options for Respiratory Diseases – In the final unit of the respiratory diseases awareness course you will consider the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases, including treatments for acute respiratory illness and the management of chronic respiratory illness.
