All about this Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering Level 1 Course
This course is suitable for workers who are not directly involved with preparing or handling high-risk open (unwrapped) food. For example, bar staff, front-of-house employees, food delivery drivers and riders, retail workers, e.g., shops and newsagents.
One of the legal requirements food business officers (FBOs) have is to ensure that food handlers are supervised and instructed and/or trained in food hygiene matters commensurate with their work activity. This course will include an overview of the legal requirements, key food safety hazards and personal hygiene. The course will also cover some of the controls you must follow to help ensure food is safe during handling.
In order to complete the course, you must achieve 80% or more in the final multiple choice quiz.
You will earn 2 CPD points on completion of the course, this course will take around 2 hours to complete and the certificate will last for two years.
